Who is Lauren Ashley?
Lauren is the founder of Lauren Ashley Studios, a luxury and destination wedding photography business based in Chicago and shooting worldwide. Over 1.5 million people follow her across Instagram and TikTok, not for polished marketing, but for the real story behind building this business.
She started with no mentor and no blueprint. She hit six figures within her first 18 months, mostly by making expensive mistakes and figuring out what actually worked. Since then, she's photographed a $3 million royal wedding in Paris, shot 17 destination weddings in a single year, and built a business generating over $460,000 a year in wedding photography alone.
But the numbers aren't the full picture. Lauren's son was born at 25 weeks and spent his first six months in the hospital. He's been her reason for all of it. Building through that season meant learning how to run a business in the margins of something much harder, and it shaped every part of how she works today.
